Photobomb- to appear behind or in front of someone when their photograph is being taken, usually doing something silly as a joke
Verb- We were photobombed by a guy dressed in a gorilla suit
Clickbait- articles, photographs, etc. on the internet that are intended to attract attention and encourage people to click on links to particular websites
Noun- Clickbait also exploits the reward centers of our brains.
Bling- jewellery or decoration that attracts attention because it is very noticeable and looks expensive
Noun- She wore a fake-fur coat, big sunglasses and lots of bling.
Turned off- when you turn off the light for example
Verb- I turned off the light
Google- the name of a search engine (= program for finding information on the internet)

Crownfunding- the practice of getting a large number of people to each give small amounts of money in order to provide the finance for a project, typically using the internet
Noun- Crowdfunding provides locally sourced finance for renewable energy projects around the country.
Rhythm- a strong pattern of sounds, words, or musical notes that is used in music, poetry, and dancing
Noun- He beat out a jazz rhythm on the drums
Tweet- a short remark or piece of information published on Twitter

Apologize- to tell someone that you are sorry for having done something that has caused problems or unhappiness for them

Take off- when a plane takes off from the runway
Verb- I saw the plane take off
Checkout- a space where I can check that my reservation of a product is correct
Noun- I checked out the truck they used in Las Vegas
Binge- an occasion when an activity is done in an extreme way, especially eating, drinking, or spending money
verb- a drinking/eating/spending binge
