Present: "I go to the store every day." Past: "Yesterday, I went to the store."

Present: "I come to the party on time." Past: "Last night, I came to the party on time."

Present: "She becomes a teacher after college." Past: "Last year, she became a teacher after college."

Present: "I see my friend at the park." Past: "Last week, I saw my friend at the park."

Present: "I do my homework every day." Past: "Yesterday, I did my homework."

Present: "I have a pen in my bag." Past: "Yesterday, I had a pen in my bag."
