    When someone brings up a child, they look after it until it is an adult. When a child, is educated, he or she is taught at a school or college
  • praise X Reward good behavior
    To express approval for someone's achievements or qualities. A reward is something that you are given because you have behaved well or worked hard.
  • Give in to X Spoil your children
    Give in: To agree to do something that you do not want to do. spoil: To give children everything they want or ask for.
  • Shame X Punish someone
    Shame: To force someone to do something by making them feel ashamed not to. Punish: to make someone suffer in some way because they have done something wrong.
  • Nag X Pester someone
    Nag: If someone nags you, they keep asking you to do something you don't want to do. Pester: to annoy constantly or repeatedly with petty irritations; bother
  • Rebel X Disobey your parents
    Rebel: to behave differently and reject the values of society or of their parents. Disobey: To deliberately do not do what they have been told
  • Push X Discipline yourself
    Push: To encourage or force someone to do something. Discipline: being able to behave and work in a controlled way obeying particular rules or standards.
