Help
How many chambers are there in the heart? Can you name them
4 - right atrium, right ventricle, left atrium and left ventricle!
Using the letters provided, in which order does blood pass through the chambers as it returns from the lungs during a complete circuit?
Q > R > P > S! The oxygenated blood will pass through left side first before become deoxygenated and return to right side.
The left ventricle contracts to send blood to the body. What happens to the valves A & B when the ventricle contracts?
A closes and B opens! A closes to prevent the blood from flowing back to atrium and B opens to allow blood to go out.
