The owner of the home is a crazy man who is more than likely dangerous, could be a murderer and has a twisted sense of life.

"Davis" admits that his real name is Detective William Henry Blore. He uses a type of figurative language when he says, "Cat's out of the bag, it seems. I suppose I'd better admit that my name isn't Davis." What kind of fig lang?
idiom - "cat's out of the bag" is a saying that means "since everyone knows my secret"
When discussion begins about "Mr. Owen," what do the characters discover? What does this add to the story?
None of them know a "Mr. Owen". This adds a sense of suspense/thrill to the story.
What happened to Mrs. Rogers when The Voice accused her and Mr. Rogers of killing Jennifer Brady? Why might this happen?
