A pesar de no ir al partido, estaban muy contentos de estar con sus amigos. Si no hubiera sido por la cancelación, los amigos no habrían disfrutado de esta fiesta.
Despite not going to the game, they were very happy to be with their friends.
Pidieron pizzas e invitaron a más amigos a ver el partido y tuvieron una fiesta maravillosa.
They ordered pizzas and invited more friends over to watch and had a wonderful party.
Luego, cuando llegaron a casa, encendieron la televisión y empezaron a ver el partido.
Then, when they got home, they turned on the television and started watching the game.
