What's the function of the respiratory system?
Our respiratory system carries the oxygen from the lungs to all the parts of our body.
They take the oxygen present in the air.
Mouth and nose
It’s a long tube that takes air from nose or mouth to the bronchi.
TRACHEA
Tubes that enable air move in and out of the lungs.
BRONCHI
They ensure the entry of oxygen in the body and remove the carbon dioxide.
LUNGS
They are small air sacs where gas exchange takes place.
ALVEOLI
It's a muscle that contracts when you breathe in and expands when you breathe out.
DIAPHRAGM
What's the function of the excretory system?
Our excretory system is in charge of getting rid of waste and extra water in our body.
They remove excess water and waste products and turn them into urine.
KIDNEYS
The urine goes down these tubes to the bladder.
URETERS
The urine is stored here. When it is full it sends a message to our brain.
BLADDER
The urine leaves the body through this tube.
URETHRA

Our circulatory system carries the nutrients and oxygen to all parts of the body.
It pumps blood around the body.
HEART
Blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart.
ARTERIES
