What is a monoculture farm?
A farm where a single crop is produced.
What is a polyculture farm?
Various crops are produced on the same land at the same time.
What do intensive farms do?
They make use of all the available space. The crops are harvestged several times a year.
What are extensive farms?
They are larger than intensive farms, but they don't use all the available space, so they produce less.
What is livestock farming?
The raising of animals to produce meat, milk, wool and leather or to be used as labour.
