Explain in simple terms the process of evaporation.
When the sun heats up the water in the oceans, rivers, lakes and other surfaces, the water evaporates and turns into the invisible gas called water vapour.
What is precipitation?
Any form of water that falls from the sky. Examples : rain, snow, sleet. hail
Explain what a spring is.
Water that runs through the ground and comes out from an opening is known as a spring.
Explain how a waterfall is formed.
River flows over hard rock - Soft rock will erode forming a small step - more soft rock erode, larger step - eventually leading the the formation of a waterfall

How is a meander formed?
Water wears away the outer banks of a river - river flows along the bend, water and pieces of rock are thrown against the outer bank wearing it away.
What is a tributary?
A small river that joins the main river and makes the main river larger.
