It lets employers know about my professional and educational background.

Do you include references in a resume?
No, but at the end of the resume you put that references are available upon request. If they want them, you send them on a separate page.
What information about a job should you put?
Name of place, position, location, dates of employment and things you did at the job using action verbs
How long should be your resume?
1 to 2 pages depending on how much experience you have
What is the first section of a resume?
Your name big in bold and followed by the rest of your contact information
What is chronological order?
starting with the most recent and working backwards
