A pup sat on Beth's lap.
Beth had a can of pop to sip in the hot sun.
Dad had a job on a big ship and Beth was sad not to be with him.
Beth did wish to get on the ship with Dad.
Then, Mom said that it is not fun on the ship.
A kid is not to run on the deck of the ship.
A kid is not to chat with a pal on the ship.
Thus, it is not fun on that ship!
Dad is on the ship to do his job.
Beth did not get mad at this.
Beth sat back to rub the pup on his chin.
Then Beth, mom, and the pup got up and met dad at the dock.
