When do students have to use the sanitizing gel?
Upon entry, when they touch any shared materials or write on the board (before and after).
Do teachers have to wipe the tables?
Yes
Do teachers have to disinfect classroom materials?
Yes, after every use (between classes or at the end of the day).
Can teachers give out pencils to students?
If you disinfect the object before and after use and ask the student to wash their hands first. Remind students and parents to bring their own stationery.
Can students work in pairs or groups?
Only if they can keep 1.5m distance
Can teachers distribute photocopied material amongst students?
No. You can bring in your own material and display it on the walls or use digital materials to project on the screen.
Where can you find Oxford and Pearson itools?
Oxford Premium website; Pearson Active Teach application downloaded onto your computer or pendrive.
What should you do if you need some additional resources (stationery) for your classes?
Ask Jason if Chelsea can cover the expenses.
What should you do if you are feeling ill?
Contact one of the directors immediately. Phone in in the morning, please don't wait to see if you feel better.
What should you do if one of the children has some symptoms of illness?
Inform admin immediately.
Will you be required to teach classes online?
Yes, it is possible that you will have to switch to online classes or run hybrid lessons (face-to-face + Zoom)
