Only one type of material. Ex: Salt, sugar, gold ect

When it contains two or more substances
What is an example of a mixture?
Milk, ice in soda, blood

heterogeneous mixture and homogeneous mixture
What is a heterogeneous mixture?
mixture that can be distinguished
What is a homogeneous mixture?
different components that can´t be distinguished
What are alloys?
homogeneous mixtures in which one or more components is metal.
What is an example of heterogeneous mixture?
soil, cereal, ice in soda, ect
What is an example of homogeneous mixture?
Sea water, rain, air ect
What are primary materials?
Material sor products that are extracted from the natural environment
Where do primary materials come from?
Natural environemnt Such as animals, minerals, vegetables.
Example of an animal product?
Wool, bees wax, leather, silk.
Example of a mineralproduct?
gold, silver, gas, ect
Example of a vegetable product?
Wood, cotton, rubber
What are renewable materials?
Materials that do not run out, because they are produced faster,than they are used for.
