Attic- the space or room at the top of a building, under the roof, often used for storing things

Balcony- an area with a wall or bars around it that is joined to the outside wall of a building on an upper level

Basement- a part of a building consisting of rooms that are partly or completely below the level of the ground
Noun- Our kitchenware department is in the basement.
Conservatory- a conservatory is a place in the house with many sales
Noun- I like to sit in the conservatory at home and read a book
Guest room- a bedroom in a house for visitors to sleep in
Noun- My relatives who came to visit stayed in the guest room.
Garage- a building where a car is kept, built next to or as part of a house

Deck- a flat area for walking on
Noun- We sat on deck until it was dark.
Hall- the area just inside the main entrance of a house, apartment, or other building that leads to other rooms and usually to the stairs

Landing- the fact of an aircraft arriving on the ground or a boat reaching landing

Loft- a space at the top of a building under the roof used for storing things and usually entered by a ladder, or sometimes made into a room for living in
Noun- Then they climbed the ladder to the loft over the kitchen.
Porch- a covered structure in front of the entrance to a building
Noun- In the United States, it is common for people to have porches on their homes.
Shed- a small building, usually made of wood, used for storing things
Noun- a tool/storage shed
Terrace- this is a part up to the top of the buildings, in some they are just to be, others are decorated and events can be held and in others they are used to park helicopters
Noun- One of my birthdays, we celebrated it on a very nice terrace
Study room- these are rooms specifically for studying, some houses have them and others don't
Noun- in my house there is a study room with many books, and that is where I do my homework
Utility room- a room, especially in a house, where large pieces of useful equipment such as a washing machine can be kept and where things can be stored
Noun- in the utility room of the kitchen we keep all the food that is not kept in the refrigerator
